Browsing Markets
BOOPOLY surfaces Polymarket's markets through several browse views in the top navigation. This page explains where to look, how to search in Chinese, and how the optional machine-translation of market text works.
NoteMarket data comes directly from Polymarket. Browse views refresh periodically; the market detail page shows the live price and order book, so it is the best place to check a price before you trade.
#Browse surfaces
The top navigation bar links to two ways of finding markets — Discover and Live copy — plus copy trading, automated trading, and liquidity rewards.
| View | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Discover | The main market grid, organized by category and tag. |
| Live copy | Live trade activity from traders you follow and from the whole market, plus dynamic copy-trading rules. |
Two older views, Calendar (/calendar) and Pulse (/pulse), are no longer in the navigation but still open from a direct link or bookmark.
#Discover
Discover is the default landing surface (/ opens it) and the primary market grid. It opens on Trending; every other category has its own address, /discover/<category> — for example /discover/new, /discover/politics or /discover/sports. Browse by category and tag — for example the sports sidebar drills from a parent category (Football, Soccer, and so on) down to a specific league (NFL, Premier League, La Liga, and more).
- Trending starts with a carousel of featured markets, followed by a Hot markets row of banners when there are any.
- New starts with a Breaking news panel that links headlines to related markets.
- At the bottom of each view, a collapsed Top N … markets card lists that category's most-traded markets as plain links with their leading odds.
NotePolymarket tags league games by their league, not the parent sport. When a sport category looks empty, open the specific league to see its games.
NoteMarkets related to Taiwan are not listed on BOOPOLY (grid, search, market pages or feeds) and are not available to trade.
A global Hide illiquid markets preference filters thin markets out of the grid. It is in the account menu (open your avatar in the navbar) and in Discover's sort menu, and it is on by default. Turn it off if you want to see every market, including illiquid ones.
TipLow-liquidity markets tend to have wide spreads, so a market order there can fill some distance from the last price. Keeping the filter on hides most of them from the grid.
#Calendar (direct link only)
Calendar lays markets out by date, with 3-day (Day on phones) and Monthly views. It is useful for dated events and games — game rows show their kickoff time. All times render in US Eastern (ET), not your device timezone, matching how markets are labelled across the app.
#Pulse (direct link only)
Pulse presents markets in parallel columns by activity signal:
- New — most recently started markets.
- Trending — highest 24-hour volume.
- Close — the most competitive markets, where the odds are closest.
On phones the columns collapse into tabs; on desktop all three show side by side.
#Live copy
Live copy (/live-feeds) is a real-time activity view with two columns:
- Following — trades from the traders you follow. Use the follow panel (Manage traders on phones) to search for and add traders.
- Market pulse — a global feed of trades across the market.
The same page hosts dynamic copy trading rules (My follow-list copies / My network copies) — see Copy Trading: Introduction.
Click any trade to open a trade widget, or click a trader to open their profile.
#Live streams on esports markets
An esports market page can load the match's official live stream (Twitch, YouTube or Kick) in a Live stream tab once the match has started, so you can watch while you follow the market. On phones the stream opens from the live tag in the scoreboard header instead.
NoteStreams are press-to-play: they load unmuted but do not autoplay, so when you tap play the stream starts with sound. (Browsers generally autoplay video only when muted, and many embedded players can't be unmuted afterwards.)
#About this market
Under the outcome list, every market page has a collapsed About … section: a short summary of the leading odds and their 7-day move, volume, liquidity and closing time, the market's Rules, and Related markets.
#Searching
#Chinese search
The search box in the navbar accepts Chinese keywords even though most markets have English titles. It maps common Chinese keywords and reverse-translates so that Chinese-speaking users can find English-titled markets. Type a query, then pick a result to jump to that market.
#Machine-translation toggle
Dynamic market text (titles and API-sourced content) can be machine-translated into your selected language. This is opt-in: open the language switcher (the globe in the navbar) and turn on Translate markets. Picking a language other than English offers the same switch. Each time you turn it on, you confirm a notice that translations are machine-generated, for reference only, and that the English original prevails.
NoteMachine translation is provided for reference. The English original prevails, so check the market's Rules when the exact wording matters. The app interface itself is translated separately and is not affected by this toggle.
Language selection (English, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean) is separate from the machine-translation toggle and changes the app interface only.
